A History of Fairy Stone State Park – an American Evolution


Fairy Stone State Park, the Martinsville Henry County Heritage Center & Museum, and the Reynolds Homestead will be co-hosting an event in Virginia's ongoing American Evolution series. Joseph Hurley, Certified Interpretive Guide at Fairy Stone State Park, will be giving a presentation about the history of the Park and its location – from as far back as the Revolutionary War leading to 1910 to World War II and the modern days.

The program is on Sunday, September 1st, 2019, at 1:00pm rain or shine at Shelter 2 and all are welcome. A Parking Fee is charged at the gate – the event is free to the public. Participants are encouraged to go to the Fairy Stone Hunt Site on Rt. 57 following the event.
