Blue Ridge Heritage will host a Beginners Fly Tying Class on Saturday, January 19, 2019, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Community Room of the Patrick Henry Community College (Stuart site). The cost is FREE.

Join us to learn about the sport and art of fly tying and become a better angler. This entry-level class is for people just getting started in fly tying or who have minimal experience. The class is designed to give the participant basic knowledge of fly tying tools, materials, patterns, and tying techniques. Participants will learn to tie four different flies to take home. The class is suitable for adults and youth 10 years old and older. However, participants 10 -16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Tying tools and materials are furnished for up to 8 people. Participants with their own fly tying tools will be furnished materials. The public is welcome to observe the fly tying presentation and demonstrations.
