Pottery and Hand Built Folk Art

Roy Stoffel's hillbilly jug men capture the spirit of our Appalachian heritage. His studio nestled in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountain is open to the public by appointment. Stoffel's folk art also shows Native American influence. His pottery is created using pit-fired technique. You can see in some of his work the Roman ruins influence. Mr. Stoffel's work is unique and no two pieces are alike. He is a fantastic demonstrator and shares his love and story of the craft.
