The American Music Concerts at The Reynolds Homestead will explore the roots of old-time, bluegrass, blues, jazz and gospel music…with artists from the wealth of talent in Patrick County as well as musicians from this region of Virginia and North Carolina. These are all excellent examples of the heritage of music along The Crooked Road!
These traditions have created a great wealth of musical material that is shared world-wide through its influence on contemporary musicians of many genre.

March 12 - Loose Strings Band (all ladies bluegrass from Galax)
April 9 - Larry Sigmon and Martha Spencer (old-time and dance)
May 27 - Music in Fairy Stone Park – Mac & Jenny Traynham, old-time duets -Shelter #2 -Free!
July 1 - Music in Fairy Stone Park- Les Moore Trio, rhythm and blues at Shelter #2 -Free!
August 12 - Music in Fairy Stone Park - Simple Gifts of the Blue Ridge - folk at Shelter #2 -Free!
September 10 - Music on the Lawn - Johnny and Jeanette Williams- great bluegrass by national/local stars
October 8 - Music at The Homestead - New Ballard Branch Bogtrotters ( Old-Time Music and Dance)
November 12- Music at The Homestead - Acoustic Endeavors (Bluegrass with Tommy Morse)
